' Dancing Cranes' ~ Pair of tall tumblers.                                          

This pair of tall silver tumblers have imagery inspired by the joyful dances of the Red Capped Cranes in Japan.
One bird watches appreciatively whilst the other leaps, showing off flamboyant wings.. all set in front of a golden sun.
In many cultures, Cranes symbolise harmony, joy and longevity and depictions are often given at weddings, wishing a long and happy marriage. .

The interior of the tumblers and crown detail is gold plated. Above/ below the Golden Sun are feature hallmarks from Edinburgh and the Coronation Mark.

The Crane’s flowing feathers sweep around the beaker and are made using Bryony's specialist technique of chasing and repoussé.
